If the parable of the sower and the farmer today means anything, God is very patient. God is the farmer in this parable, and He knows that in life there is a mixture of weeds and good growth. He knows that there will always be evil and goodness.
God is so good to us, so patient.
I do not think that there is much patience around these days. Lots of people want action or satisfaction now, almost the same day. Admittedly, we should not become “good enough” people with a sense of we have gone far enough and are satisfied to place limits on what we can achieve especially spiritually. Maybe we should approach life with more patience and with an openness to change.
He gives people a chance to repent, to turn from evil and to embrace the good. God is so good and merciful, but as this parable tells us, there will come a time to punish the evil doer.
