Praying Every Day

The most important lesson for Christians from “Acts” today is the need for prayer. Prayer is the life sustaining force of every believer. As urgent as the need for evangelization was for the disciples,
they knew they had to prepare themselves by fervent prayer.
As hurried and disordered as our lives are today, the only way to survive is to take the time to pray for God’s guidance, spirit, and direction in our lives. Personal prayer and frequent communion with God in meditation are still and always will be the basis of the Christian life and the only solid foundation on which a Christian apostolate can be built.
