We are all aware of God’s mercy. On the Second Sunday of Easter in the Jubilee Year of 2000, John Paul II declared that henceforth this Sunday would be called “Divine Mercy Sunday.” This is a great gift to us who need to allow God’s mercy into our lives

         We must never allow ourselves to be caught in the painful experiences of the past.  We must be free of the pain others have caused us or stuck in our own failings and sins.  We must let go and let God.  We must allow God to extend to us the great freeing power of Divine Mercy.
