Resurrection’s three candidates in the RCIA program participated in the Rite of Election at St. Patrick’s Cathedral last Sunday, the First Sunday of Lent.

    Carlos Laboy, Marianne Egan, and Liv Dolce had previously signed the Election book here at Resurrection.  They joined others from the many parishes throughout the Archdiocese and signed the book that was presented to Cardinal Egan who addressed the congregation.  The service was held in English, Spanish, and two Oriental tongues that dramatically showed the universality of the Church.  More information and  more pictures of the ceremony are available by clicking on Photo Gallery in the left hand column of this site.
